An online unproctored exam will be conducted at the end of the course. The exam format is as follows: 

• Multiple Choice • 40 questions for the exam • One mark awarded for every right answer • No negative marks for wrong answers • 30 questions need to be answered correctly to pass • 60 minutes duration

Examination Guidelines

An online proctored exam will be conducted at the end of the course. The exam format is as follows: 

• Multiple Choice • 100 questions for the exam • One mark awarded for every right answer • No negative marks for wrong answers • 120 minutes duration

Prerequisites

There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is preferable to complete the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Associate and study the recommended processes from the SMstudy ® Guide – Marketing Research book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Professional. All the required resources are also provided as part of the online certification course.

SPECIALIST LEVEL

Prerequisites

The candidate should have minimum of 3 years work experience. It is preferable to complete the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Professional certification and study all processes from the SMstudy Guide — Marketing Research book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Specialist certification. It is also mandatory to gain 20 mandatory educational hours by attending Marketing Research Specialist classroom training provided by a SMstudy approved Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P.)

Examination Guidelines

An online proctored exam will be conducted at the end of the course. The exam format is as follows: 

• Multiple Choice • 140 questions for the exam • One mark awarded for every right answer • No negative marks for wrong answers • 180 minutes duration

This certification is appropriate for Sales and Marketing Professionals who are interested in becoming a Marketing Research Specialist.

EXPERT LEVEL

Examination Guidelines

An online proctored exam will be conducted at the end of the course. The exam format is as follows: 

• Multiple Choice • 180 questions for the exam • One mark awarded for every right answer • No negative marks for wrong answers • 240 minutes duration 

Prerequisites

The candidate should have minimum of 5 years work experience. It is preferable to complete the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Strategy Specialist and study all processes from the SMstudy Guide – Introduction and Marketing Strategy book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Expert. It is also mandatory to gain 40 mandatory educational hours by attending Marketing Research Expert classroom training provided by a SMstudy approved Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P.) and produce professional recommendation.
