Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) certification is the next step for Scrum practitioners to further demonstrate their expertise in the Scrum framework. Expert Scrum Master Certified practitioners demonstrate their ability to manage complex Scrum projects and scale Scrum to large project teams, programs, and portfolios.

Applicants will be awarded the Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) certificate by SCRUMstudy™ upon successfully passing the certification exam.

Prerequisites

To become an ESMC™ certified professional you should fulfil the following criteria:

  • Should have three years of experience managing Scrum/Agile Projects 
  • Should be SMC®, SAMC™ and SPOC® certified. 
  • Should submit 500 words write up about two Scrum/Agile projects. 
  • You can also attend a 2-day ESMC™ classroom training provided by a SCRUMstudy™ A.T.P.

STEP BY STEP

How to Apply 

Step 1. Register

Register for free on SCRUMstudy.com and apply for the exam (OR) Attend a classroom training provided by a SCRUMstudy™ Authorized Training Partner and register on SCRUMstudy.com.

Step 2. Apply

Apply for the exam by paying USD 800 or by using the exam voucher provided by a SCRUMstudy™ A.T.P. You need to submit relevant documents.

Step 3. Access the online course and take the exam

  • Get access to online course on ‘Expert Scrum Master Certified’. 
  • Get a copy of SBOK® Guide online version. 
  • Schedule the four hour proctored exam. 
  • SCRUMstudy™ verifies the application: confirms the exam date and time. 
  • Take the four hour proctored exam online.

Step 4. Upon successful completion of the exam get an online certificate.

  • Your name will be added to the SCRUMstudy™ Certification Registry. 
  • You can add the certificate to your LinkedIn profile. 
  • If you are unable to pass the exam, you can schedule again and take a maximum of two Free Exam Retakes.
